The Middle

September 9th, 2026 9:00-5:00 pm
Wakefield, Massachusetts

The Middle is a one-day in-person event for service-based business owners, coaches, consultants, and solopreneurs who are somewhere in the building phase of their business.

It is a full day of structured conversation, small group mastermind sessions, and intentional connection. This is not a conference with speaker after speaker. You will not sit and consume information all day.

You will talk, process, plan, and leave with momentum.

This is not another event designed for consumption.

You will not sit in a chair for six hours absorbing information you could have found in a podcast.

You will not leave with a notebook full of notes you never look at again. You will not pay to be talked at.

About Michelle

Michelle DeNio is a business strategist with 9 years in business and 15+ years in corporate operations before that.

She works with service-based business owners who are done reacting and ready to build real momentum — through her Focused Visionary Framework built around three things: Pricing, Pipeline, and Sales.

She hosts The Real Truth About Business podcast (300+ episodes, top 5% globally) and has built her reputation on one thing: cutting through the noise and telling business owners exactly what is going on and what to do about it.

She is not a coach. She is a strategist. And this event is built in her image — direct, structured, no fluff, and entirely focused on forward movement.

This day is designed around two things: Momentum and Movement.

We are talking about what is actually going on in your business right now.

  • Where you want to go.
  • What's coming up. What's in the way.
  • What you need to stop doing and what you need to do more of.

You will say things out loud in this room that you have been carrying around in your head for months.

And when you hear yourself say them , and when the people at your table respond, something inside you will shift.

That's what this day is built for.

How the day will flow:

Schedule and flow of the day may change as we get closer to the event.

You will be sent the official schedule a few days before the event after registration.

9:00 – 10:00 | Doors Open + Networking

Arrive, get your coffee, grab some brekafast, meet the room. This is not accidental mingling. You will leave today having met everyone in this room intentionally.

10:00 – 10:45 | The Middle Isn't Messy — You Just Don't Have a Strategy

Michelle opens the day with a talk that reframes everything. The middle of business is not a problem. It is where you actually live. And the reason it feels chaotic has nothing to do with you and everything to do with the fact that no one handed you a strategy for navigating it.

10:45 – 12:15 | Table Mastermind — Round 1

Small facilitated groups. Structured conversation. Everyone gets air time. You will leave this session having said out loud the thing you have been carrying around in your head.

12:15 – 1:15 | Lunch

Eat. Keep talking. The conversations that happen over lunch at events like this are often the ones people remember most.

1:15 – 1:45 | Q4/Q1 Planning Framework

A short teaching segment to shift the room from processing to planning. You are here in September. Q4 is right in front of you. Walk away with a clear framework for how to close out this year and set up the next one with intention.

1:45 – 3:15 | Table Mastermind — Round 2

Back to your tables. The conversation shifts from where you are to where you're going — and what is actually standing in the way.

3:15 – 3:30 | Break

3:30 – 4:15 | Open Thought Partner Sessions

Partnered conversation. You work through any questions that have come up. This is the unstructured, high-value, can't-get-it-from-a-podcast kind of conversation that makes an event worth the flight.

4:15 – 5:00 | Full Room Close

A few tables share what shifted. Michelle closes out the day. You leave with clarity, connections, and a plan — not just a notebook full of highlights.

Everyone's middle is different. That's the point.

This room will be full of service-based business owners, consultants, coaches, and solopreneurs who are all somewhere in their middle.

Some are scaling. Some are recalibrating. Some are in a season of growth that feels equal parts exciting and terrifying.

You will not just be in the same room as these people. You will meet them. You will hear their middle. You will share yours.

And you will leave with real connections, not just business cards. The conversations that happen in a room like this are the ones that change the trajectory of your next quarter.

Not because someone told you what to do.

Because you finally said it out loud and someone who gets it was sitting across the table from you.

Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that making financial decisions can feel overwhelming. That’s why we’ve answered some of the most common questions about our services, process, and how we can help your business grow. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!

  • Who is this event for?
This event is for business owners who are at least 2 years in and living in the middle — which looks different for everyone. Maybe you are scaling and it feels equal parts exciting and unknown. Maybe you are in a season of smooth momentum and you are trying not to blow it. Maybe you are recalibrating — your offer, your audience, your direction — and you can feel the shift coming but you can't quite name it yet. Whatever your middle looks like, if you are past the beginner stage and actively building, you belong in this room.
  • I am traveling alone. How will I meet people and not feel like the only one walking in solo?
Most people in this room will be walking in alone. That is actually the point. The day is intentionally structured from the first hour so that meeting people is not something you have to figure out on your own. You will not be standing in a corner hoping someone talks to you. From the moment doors open there is structure built in to get you talking to the people around you. By lunch you will already know your table. By the end of the day you will have met the entire room — not just exchanged names, but actually had real conversations about what people are building and where they are headed.
  • What should I wear?
There is no dress code. Wear what makes you feel comfortable and in your power. You will be moving around, switching seats, and having real conversations all day — so wear something you can move in easily. Conference rooms tend to run cool, so layers are a good idea. Show up as yourself. That is exactly who we want in the room.
  • Are meals included?
Breakfast, lunch, snacks and non alcoholic beverages will be provided. Dietary restrictions will be accomodated as well.
